How do we rise on the ground over which we once stumbled, turn stops into steps, and cultivate the fruits of Post Traumatic Growth (PTG)?
Certainly, one tool we can use to our favor is the power of deliberate questions. "When we are confronted with almost any demanding situation, in work or in life, simply taking the time and effort to ask questions can help guide us to better decisions and a more productive course of action
It's fair to say that when we are in the midst of tough times in our life, we want and perhaps need something to CHANGE. Change, by definition, means something NEW happens. It is NEW ways of thinking, feeling, acting, perceiving, and experiencing that will enable us to do our part in changing what we can, in order to get to higher ground. If something NEW is happening, then that, by definition, means that inspiration is coming into our lives from the Unknown. It would not be "new" or "change" if it were known. All learning, therefore means we must explore beyond what we know, and discover something new (from the Unknown).
"Questions enable us to 'organize our thinking around what we don't know'." (The Book of Beautiful Questions by Warren Berger)
